Driving and Vision!

Is there anyone else out there who went to Renew their driver's license and they failed because their vision was not good enough? That happened to me and I am in the process of getting corrective lenses. However, in the mean time I just took an office job. No driving required, but they want a copy of my car insurance based on the offer letter I got in the mail today. My husband has it, but I am not on it because my license is not renewed yet. I will not be driving to work until I get my corrective lenses. Has anyone ever come across this? Does anyone know why an office job that requires no driving needs a copy of car insurance? What do I say when I go in to fill out the paperwork? How would you handle this
