1.gargle with warm salty water atleast twice a day. 2.if it doesn't have effect add some turmeric powder also to it.it will have good effect over the germs and avoid infections. these are some home remedies. if continues then it is better to consult a physician.

Alot of people is telling me about the salt and warm water thing but how does that work when your rinsing your mouth and not your throat? Shouldn't you have to actually drink somethint so it'll reach your throat?

chicken soup - something enjoyable that help to cure what ails you
The sore throat is meaning that a war is going on between your white cells and a virus so chicken soup with all the garlic or onions or hot peppers will help the throat and help raise you temperture a bit to fight off the virus. We also eat potato chips to get salt down the throat. A nice Hot! bath should also help a bit. Hope you try these and you are better soon!

Using salt mixing with warm/cool water is to relieve soar throat before going to bed. You can gargle with it in you mouth about 5 minutes, and split out. You can do when you feel to do in day time as well.

Soar throats can cause by bacteria and also sometimes body heat. My aunt suggest to drink chrysanthemum tea to cool your body down. Drink frequently it will reduce your body heat and soar throat. It is the simplest, most convenient, and somehow effective to me. I drink a lot when i got soar throat or mucus.
