I'm a great star wars fan..........such a saga is unthinkable and lucas has proved his imagination in this series..........I'll put the story in a few lines.......people who got special powers(called the force )use it to do good to the people of the universe they r called Jedi's and same set of people they want to attain thier goals/victories through unfair means they r the Dark jedis.The jedi forsee in future that one man will put a end to the dark jedi's they meet a young boy anakin who seem to resemble these traits....they train him...he falls in love and become so attached to his lova he turns into a dark jedi his son luke is seperated from him and the jedi train him as a jedi hoping to undo their mistakes.....the son finally meets his father and tries to convert him back to the path of light....he succeeds and his father destroys the emperor of evil sith who converted anakin to dark side....then luke takes up the task of training more jedi and save the people from dark jedi(SEE THE MOVIES FOR DETAILED STORY)...so how many mylot people r fans of Star wars?

I love STAR WARS. My favourit is going to have be the final one (Episode 6, where Luke discovers who his father is.) I also LOVE Episode 1. I think the young Anakin Skywalker is just so cute, and the actor who played him did a fantastic job for someone so young- such talent. I think George Lucas is an absolute GENIUS!

try downloading all the 6 movies from torrents or see it in a dvd u'll understand why people r so fond of it

the best only problem with many is that they'vent heard of such a story or they could'nt tune into the story but if u see all the movies from the starting episode u'll understand it

Yeah, I loved the original movies when I was a kid. of the new movies, the only one worth seeing is the third (IMHO), and even in that one, hayden christiansons totally over acts. BTW, in your synopsis, you go too far ahead, into the books. Luke doesn't train any jedi in the movies.

ya he doesn't train any one in the movies but he does in the story which was continued in the star wras games which got released after the movies.....

I love Star Wars, adore it... I saw it in the theatres when it was released, but my gf, who is ten years my junior, and I have noted that a LOT of people her gae are obsessed with Star Wars.It's like the classic they just missed or something,lol. But she can seriously quote or reference any quote/scene from any of the movies with striking accuracy!!

I love Star wars, specially Darth Vader! He Rocks! im on the Dark side of the force. I loved them because their great when it comes to fighting much more powerful than those jedi's.

Are you on the dark side just because you are proud of being different ?? Most people that go on this path in their life cannot do anything good (or just cannot do anything) and they start doing things against the others - lol just joking ... but better think why are your decisions so and so.

i think it is very boring
i have seen the first film when it came out at the cinema but i found it realy rubbish. i think some people go over the top with all the figures and collectables
