Institutionalised racism

What are the top New York politicians doing about the gruesome movie-like murder of Sean Bell? If the race of the people involved in the scene were swapped, would the law have moved fast? Too bad that the groom and his mates were of the wrong colour at the wrong time!

I agree with you and the NYPD should have checked Oliver out before they even hired him. A year after they hired him he went after a black taxi driver...he really messed him up and NYC had to pay $10,000. He told the taxi driver he needed to go back to Africa. That alone should have had him suspended. Yet they still kept him. He has a lot of things against him. NYPD should be checking these guys out. We do not have room for this stuff. I'm not black, but it doesn't take someone of Sean Bell's race to figure out what is going. Just a decent person.
