YOU KNOW IT SEEEMS BIT OF A DOUBLE STANDARD TO ME...HUSSAIN KILLED PEOPLE IN HI OWN COUNTRY WHILST BUSH has to send his killers half way accross the globe to murder innocent woman and children....I dont actually agree with capital punishment but hey, lets at least be consistent with who we hang for the killing of civillians

I understand what you're saying and, to a certain degree, you're right; however there is a bit of a difference in how the people are being killed. In the United States' eyes, we are protecting ourselves and the futhermore torture of others in Iraq. Where there is no justification as to why Saddam was killing people. He was killing people for the simple pleasure of killing. Not only was his killing, he was torturing. These people suffered for days, months, some even years. We are not making anyone suffer physically by protecting ourselves. Yes, the families may be suffering emotionally over the loss and gore of the entire war but we cannot even trust a small child walking up to a soldier as the Iraqis are strapping bombs to the children. It's all insane and I don't like war. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Bush is holier than thou but the killings of people is a bit different to Saddam's killings.

i agree with you it does seem like a double standards but history (and legal judgements) are written by the victors,Bush won, saddam lost, end of.
