have ever seen falling star?y do they fall?

I have seen a shooting star. It was on Halloween night 7 years ago. It was awesome to see.

i have seen them and i agree that they are not really stars. they are meteroids entering into the earths atmosphere and get burnt when they react to the earths force, their speed and oxygen

I have seen many "shooting stars" in my lifetime. in the US there is a saying that if you make a wish on a falling star, that wish will come true. It has happened to me several times! Also, there was a meteor shower a couple of weeks ago, and for once the sky was clear enough to really enjoy it. I saw at least thirty shooting stars in the course of about an hour. It was amazing! I did not make a wish on any of them though, because I feel that it has to be a random sighting for that to be true ;-)

Oh! yeah I have seen lots of falling stars but the night I remember the most is when I went out camping with friends in Siquoya National Park (Southern California, USA). The camping site was quite open and very very dark. It was a crystal clear night and we all friends saw so many falling starts. I can close my eys and still remember that night...
