Which is right? What's the difference between the two, if any? Which term do you use? and while we're at it what's the difference between regular ketchup and fancy ketchup?

I believe that KETCHUP is correct! The difference would be the way it looks like. Ketchup looks like is would be pronounced like KET-CHUP. And Catsup looks like it would be pronounced CAT-SUP....kinda like WHAT-SUP!!! And I don't think that there is a difference between Fancy and Regular Ketchup. But, maybe Fancy Ketchup is sweeter?? Could be...maybe the world will never know!?!? :D

I always call it ketchup too. Don't know anyone who calls it catsup. Thanks for the reply.

Only once in my life have I heard it called catsup. It was my girlfriends gramma and it was homemade. Tasted ok thogh. Maybe it is an old fashioned word for Ketchup? For me it has always been Ketchup and it has to be Heinz!

They're both right. It just depends on the country in which you live in. I know it as both because in the caribbean they say catsup whilein America tey say ketchup. No matter what is said or written, it only matters what is in the bottle.
