favorite memories

I would have to say the first night my ex-wife and I agreed to be a couple. It was my sis' b-day party and Dee had spent the night, along with many other friends. She and I were on a couch, about midnight, watching a movie. Everyone else was passed out, and she was just laying there. She scooted over and laid her head on my lap and kind of looked up at me. At that point, she knew what I had known for a couple of years. I knew from the first moment I saw her, that I was meant to be with her. I asked her, "hey - you wanna" and I didn't even have to finish the question. She put her hand on my cheek, smiled, and reached over to pull my hand against her. We held hands all night long, and I stayed awake the entire night - rubbing her hair and lightly touching her cheek. That is one of my most cherished memories.
