Here's something to toast to,there are many price cuts on expensive champagne this time of the year.the competition among the businesses brings the prices down.don't worry champagne is easily kept foa a year or more. For instance a bottle of Roger Brut Reserve 1998 regularly goes for 91.00, right now you can find it on sale for 66.00,that's a savings of 17%. that is a bargain. Do you have a bargain item that you would like to share?

yes I love champagne, but since moving to Spain I have been lucky enough to try some excellent cavas, which taste just as good at half the price. One of the best ones I had only cost 3.50 euros, so thats what I call a bargain. Somehow the more I drunk the more of a bargain it became and seemed to taste better the more I had. By the way thats 3.50 a bottle not a glass. So i take it you will also be celebrating the new year with bubbles
