A question for those in the UK. What does your television license grant you in t

It pays for the BBC, as a result we don't get adverts because they get all their money from us, they have about 6 channels in total but 4 of them are only available if you have digital TV. The money only goes to the BBC but you have to have a license even if you don't watch the BBC channels, so the license gives you access to ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 as well.
