what are your childhood memories about santa?

even if santa is a fictional character, i have my childhood memories of him. it was Christmas eve, (i think) when i was sitting outside the house when this long beard-big stomach-wearing a red suit guy approached me and put candies in my pocket and suddenly all of the children in our neighborhood came up to him and handed out their bigshirts for candies to be put on. It was really blurry. That's what i can remember.
