how i open .rar file with any player.

hi frinds, How I open any .rar extension file in widows media player, winmp player, or any other player, can any one guide me thanks for that in advance/

rar file is an archive file. it is like a zip file. you should open it with the winrar software whih you can download from the net. may be www.downloads.com . it is like winzip

thanks , but i want to know that when i open it from winrar but this cannnot play only music is on but not vidio so please if u have any solution give me it
