Discussion resolved means best response has been selected by the starter of the discussion.so if you have started a discussion and got responses,you will have the right to choose the best response.If you select it,then the discussion resolved will be incremented.

Thanks mythmoh, I would never realised if you did not mentioned. I think I have chosen a best response once without realising. I was new then. Thanks!

I suppose so. I just marked a best response last week and I notice yesterday that I had one resolved discussion. The post is still around. I have also commented on other people's post when a best response had already been picked. I do not know how long will the discussion remain though.

I wondered about that myself. I have a mark by discussions resolved but I guess I did not realize anything had needed to be resolved! If you find out let me know too!

There's a response further down that said discussions are resolved when "best response" is picked. I have seen posts where "best response" has been selected but yet discussions go on. Does resolved mean discussions closed?
