my son bad habit

i am having a really serious problem. my son has fallen into a bad habit of playing snooker and not just playing he bets on the game he plays. i have tried all the ways to request him to stop going to cafe to play but he does not seem to listen and also because of this habit last week he stole some money from my purse which i found out. i asked him to stop doing this he would not listen and goes there and plays for 3-4 hours. you can say he is addicted to this. i want to find out how i can remove him out from this. please help?
