What are the advantages & disadvantages of using a microwave to cook your food?

I love microwave because it's really fast in defrozing bread and meat. I use it too for warming milk in the morning. I think advantages are : - cooking of meat inside it so no parts with blood - unfreezing - fast cooking - you can cook something in a glass recipient disavantages: - you must not cook too much food because it will become cancerogenic! But this is a general advices and it's the same for conventional oven - don't insert metallic things inside the oven - some food can't be cooked...grapes are NOT to be inserted in an oven because there are some strange effects! - don't use plastic scurf inside it because it can loosen and go on food....and it's cancerogenic too following this advices microwave cooking is really good!
