I usually steam it with salt and butter too. This is the healthiest way to eat it. I would think you could add cheese, boil it, maybe even make some type casserole with it just like you do squash.

i usually steam my cauliflower with brocolli then add with butter & garlic powder as a vegetable side dish. sometimes i'll melt butter , add garlic powder , flour , salt , pepper & grated cheese. mix the cauliflower then baked for a few minutes. . . serve hot with bread toast & soy chicken.

here is a recipe for you this is howw i make my cauliflower Simple Cauliflower Stir-fry Simple but tasty! 1 head cauliflower salt 2 tablespoons peanut oil 2 teaspoons minced garlic Bring a large pot of water to boil. Cut off and discard cauliflower leaves and cut out the core; cut the cauliflower into florets. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to boiling water; bring back to a boil and add the cauliflower; stir gently as water comes back to a boil, boil for about 1 minute, or till cauliflower is tender but still firm; drain and set aside. heat a large wok over high heat; add the oil and swirl to coat; add the garlic and stir-fry until it starts to turn golden, 15-20 seconds; add the cauliflower and stir-fry for 30 seconds to 1 minute; press it against the side of the wok to sear it but don't mash it. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, stir-fry briefly and serve. hope you liked it

I enjoy cauliflower with a nice cheese sauce over it. I think it tastes delicious! I've never tried the mashed up version before, I have seen recipes where you mix the cauliflower in with potatoes to give it a different spiced up flavor. Have not tried that either. I like cauliflower plain, with cheese, with butter and just dipped in dressing!

You and I have the same ways and tastes. However, the way I like cauliflower best is raw, cut in small pieces and eaten with a tasty dip of your choice. I always served this as an apetizer or with pre-dinner drinks. They were always well received and sometimes I would have to cut up another one before dinner.

Here are three ways that I prepare my cauliflower. 1. Raw- Rinse it well, then dip it it ranch dressing and eat it. 2. I steam it and and butter and salt. 3. Stir fry it- Ingredients 1 1/2 cups of cauliflower pieces 1 1/2 broccoli pieces 3 green onions, chopped 1 cup of fresh mushrooms and Salt 3/4 cup of fat-free Italian dressing, and 2 teaspoons of grated orange peel. In a large skillet sprayed with nonstick cooking spray, stir-fry cauliflower, broccoli, onions, and mushrooms over medium heat 4-5 minutes. Add a small amount of water about 1/2 cup then cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the lid and cook it until most of the liquid is absorbed. Add salt, dressing, and orange peel and stir.

usually,i soak the cauliflower in the hot water for about five minutes.and then dice it as small florets,i add some salt, currypowder, plainflour.I leave it for half or one hour then I fried this in the hot oil.I tastes good.we can eat this as snack. If you are in diet dont try this one.simply boil the cauliflower then add some salt and pepper with it.have it as it is.
