If you have regular income to meet the daily expenses, Kerala is a very calm, beautiful place to live. But if you are unemployed, from where you meet the daily expenses? This State is standing now with only Expatriate's money.

the situation in kerala is bad bcoz of the MARXIST people there. they have always put hurdels for growth of kerala. few days back i went to kerala for picnic and had to face severe problems bcoz marxist had organised some BANDH. These people dont recognise that they will be no where without tourism.Tourism is the back bone of kerala. They should do wahtecver they can to attract tourist.

its natural the human being always sees better thing with in other not in himself. Our whole culture teach us to see, know, feel, enjoy, and be proved. but we humans never ever learn those teaching. ONlY FEW GUYS LEARN AND STICK TO IT, THEY IS GOD EVERY PLACE ONE SHOULD HAVE THE SKILLED EYS TO SEE, FEEL IT.

All states have their own problems, when ppl from kerala are complaining, think of the ppl from states like bihar, ok i agree that there is coruption and many such vices, but a lot is there in our hands, i.e the youth of kerala, we can make a difference if we try.

i don't think Kerala is a more expensive place than anywhere else in India , may be people are moving out because they want higher paid jobs . i wonder why industrialists hesitate to set up operations in Kerala , despite Kerala having a stable peace , and also seems to be a lot cleaner and well kept place than many other states. And there are not much traffic jams in Trivandrum , compared with many other cities in India.

The highest percentage of literatures are found in Kerala. Kerala has no solid industrial base and no body wants to venture out to open industries in kerala, basically because they are a organized lot and industrialists are not keen on having a tussle with labour there, because msot of them are members of one union or the other. Obviously, many keralites go outside state to work for earning livlihood. Foreigners are visiting kerala for its natural beauty, loverly water ways, and traditionns and culture.
