What is more hygenic, having a bath or a shower?

Having a bath (you know sitting in there for ages)may feel relaxing but is it more hygenic than having a shower where dirt is always being washed off rather than floating around you?

I would say the shower would be more hygenic because if you sit in the water you will be sitting in dirty water. In a shower the water runs off you and downt he drain. Definately more sanitary.
