Raising a Multi Racial Child

As mother to a multi racial child (african american, puerto rican, and caucasian) I am interested to hear how other families are dealing with this situation. In my situation I find it a great challenge, as I am also a single mother. Do your children identify more with one group than another? Have you found any good resources for helping them understand that they are no different than anyone else? (I have taught my daughter to respond to the question "what race are you" by simply stating "human"). All advice/ input is welcome here.
