How do i convince my parents for letting me go onsite

I am a SE and this is the second oppurtunity for me to go onsite and i am missing it becoz of them.I want to go as it is important for my career but how do i make them understand this...they r quite conservative.

In which visa you are going to onsite?if it is b1 then it wont take 3 months.So no need to woory about your parents as you can assure them that you will return after 3 months.If it is a long term then explain the situation to them and try to apply visa for them asap and have them with you for about 6 months.

mine is a B1 ...my father is a businessman and he is not really in favour of me working but he somehow approved....but for goin onsite....i dont understand why he thinks its bad...but i m still trying ..thnx for ur response...

Se is software enggineer....they r not internet literate...n a little backward....they think goin onsite will spoil me..:-(

Did you get the information you wanted about this in the end? Its been some while since you posted and you havent had a response, so I just wondered if it all worked out in the end.
