Does Beauty contests degrade womenhood??

In this running world..women are making up their own existence..they are leaving the men behind..and beauty contest is one of the platforms for women..and certainly it does not degrade the womenhood..but its giving them a new reason to live..and a new destiny

ya i think it does those revealing skimpy dresses n stuff its objectifying them n the sad part is that women fall for it just to get money n fame....isnt this biaattchy or wat?
