How often do you wash your car?

My car is a 1977 model Toyota Corona Mark II and I need not keep it shining as it is not a brand new one. But it is necessary to wash it at least once a week as otherwise mud will get collected and dry in corners encouraging rust to form. Also at least once in three months I take it to the car wash where they will give a full high pressure wash, and grease all the joints.
