I have one front tooth gone so my dentist use a porcelain tooth to cover it up. He just use some kind of cement to fuse the tooth with my other good teeth. Do you wear dentures?

Dentures (also known as dental plates), can be defined as a set of artificial teeth, which are used when a patient has lost real teeth on the mandibular arch, the maxillary arch, or both. Patients can become entirely edentulous (without teeth) due to severe malnutrition, genetic defects such as Dentinogenesis imperfecta, ineffective oral hygiene or trauma. Dentures can help give the edentulous patient better masticatory (chewing) abilities, as well as enhance their aesthetic appeal by providing the illusion of having natural teeth, providing support for their lips and cheeks, and correcting the collapsed appearance commonly seen between the nose and the chin. I don't have any fortunately :-)) xx

Ever since my childhood I dreaded spectacles and dentures. I thought I'll be able to avoid them till I am 100. But we have to face facts. I managed to somehow other avoid dentures till now (I'm 50). This I did by good and expensive fillings I use in my teeth. I kept all of them intact somehow or other. But I could not avoid spectacles. I am wearing them to read now.
