That's incorrect as well. Dave Mustaine only came into Metallica in 1982 and their first formation was born during the year of 1981. Here's the original first Metallica line-up: James Hetfield (Rhtyhm Guitars, Vocals, Bass), Llyod Grant (Lead Guitars) and Lars Ulrich (Drums). You can check this on wikipedia if you want.

no it wasnt kirk hammett..twas dave mustaine..so d original is hetfield, cliff burton, lars ulrich and dave mustaine..
