I have to read a range of texts for English Lit but have already covered Shakespeare, Dickens, Bronte and Austin. Which others are worth reading?

Edgar Allen Poe, Hemingway, Oscar Wilde, James Joyce, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Thoreau...
Hemingway is good too but he's 20th Century.

I've read Hemingway and James Joyce is being lent to a friend. I've got the Dubliners to read. Thanks for the suggestions!
