I think this bottled water craze is really bogus.I was told that a certain percent of bottled water can come from the regular tap. Please give me any information you have. Thanks

I think bottled water is as good as tap water. Tap water can have chlorine added and this can be unhealthy. we have iron in our tap water and other people have lime in tap water. These can be unhealthy. In bottled water you can be sure none of these are present and much of the bottled watre comes form streams and is treted to remove anyhting dangerous.

I think to an extend it is bogus, but also you have to remember that buying bottled water is sometimes just convienent - sometimes you are just not near a tap. There was that situation not so long ago about a mineral water that was just being taken out a tap in London! It was taken off sale soon after that was reported.

You are so right.I think we buy it because it is easier then filling up a water bottle at home and tugging it all day long.very good response,it made me think a little.

well im not sure though. But i feel the reputed bottle manufacturing companies have their set of laboratories where complete checking is done before the bottle is sealed. if you are talking about the local bottled water than it may be true that the water is from tap water itself.

I think it's different because it tastes different than tap water.
