hi.. im from malaysia...Malaysia is a federation of thirteen states in Southeast Asia.... The country consists of two geographical regions divided by the South China Sea.... Peninsular Malaysia (or West Malaysia) on the Malay Peninsula shares a land border on the north with Thailand and is connected by the Johor-Singapore Causeway and the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link to the south with Singapore. It consists of nine sultanates (Johor, Kedah, Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Selangor and Terengganu), two states headed by governors (Malacca and Penang), and two federal territories (Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur)....... Malaysian Borneo (or East Malaysia) occupies the northern part of the island of Borneo, bordering Indonesia and surrounding the Sultanate of Brunei. It consists of the states of Sabah and Sarawak and the federal territory of Labuan...... The name "Malaysia" was adopted in 1963 when the Federation of Malaya (Malay: Persekutuan Tanah Melayu), Singapore, Sabah and Sarawak formed a 14-state federation.Singapore was expelled from the federation in 1965 and subsequently become an independent country....... Although politically dominated by the Malays, modern Malaysian society is heterogeneous, with substantial Chinese and Indian minorities.Malaysian politics have been noted for their allegedly communal nature, the three major component parties of the Barisan Nasional each restrict membership to those of one ethnic group. However, the only major intercommunal violence the country has seen since independence was the May 13 racial riots of 1969 that occurred in the wake of an election campaign that was dominated by racial issues............. what about your country?????

Canada is a place where we let everybody in and nobody wants to leave. We're not as highly populated as our neighbours to the south, but we're more forgiving and have much better attitudes (stereotype). We are the second largest nation and we have a lot of power when it comes to hockey.

am from a city in england called manchester, I did some research on the census statistics and came up with this for the population range... Age Range legend Total = T, Male = M, Female = F 0 - 4 T = 152886 M = 78175 F = 74711 5 - 9 T = 165852 M = 85152 F = 80700 10 - 14 T = 174287 M = 89057 F = 85230 15 - 19 T = 162324 M = 82499 F = 79825 20 - 24 T = 158044 M = 77666 F = 80378 25 - 29 T = 167179 M = 82042 F = 85137 30 - 34 T = 192918 M = 94480 F = 98438 35 - 39 T = 194754 M = 96766 F = 97988 40 - 44 T = 169559 M = 83877 F = 85682 45 - 49 T = 152340 M = 76306 F = 76034 50 - 54 T = 167529 M = 83984 F = 83545 55 - 59 T = 135685 M = 67177 F = 68508 60 - 64 T = 119474 M = 58920 F = 60554 65 - 69 T = 104460 M = 50245 F = 54215 70 - 74 T = 91830 M = 40636 F = 51194 75 - 79 T = 78735 M = 32303 F = 46432 80 - 84 T = 51774 M = 18206 F = 33568 85 - 89 T = 28971 M = 7963 F = 21008 90 and over T = 13751 M = 2787 F = 10964 Totals T = 2482352 M = 1208241 F = 1274111 Now with the attractions that manchester has to offer everyone knows about Old Trafford home of manchester united football club. I am from Malaysia as well. I am now in the UK doing my masters degree. Malaysia is truly unique in the sense of its multicultural and multi-ethnic society. The other thing is, I really miss the food back home. Eating out, mamak stalls and all the hawker food, the multi choices of different type of food are not found here in the UK or anywhere else that I've visited. It's just not the same as back home. :-)

I am from India. There are 28 states. And, fifteen main languages, but in every state withing kilometres, the language changes slightly. Our country is secular so there are total six riligions exist...Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Jain, Christian, Budhist. Also here you can see all colors of seasons (bright sunny days, heavily rainfall, chilli winter, etc). The population of India is above one billion & it is the second most populated country. All other things about India, a person above from India has already written. In short I would say, more than one billion people, twenty-eight states, fifteen languages, six religions & all seasons only in one country...INDIA!

I'm from the USA. I know that around the world, that is often considered to be a bad thing. I am not going to go into a long description of the USA, except to say that there are many, many places that are not at all like the big cities, the political centers, the vacation spots, or Hollywood. The USA I live in is very respectable, kind, conservative, life-valuing, and safe. We are not materialistic, and live very frugally in my area of the USA. The best thing about the USA is the diversity of the states; if you don't like the one you live in, you can move. I am very intrigued by the descriptions of your country. Great post!

No man not everyone hates US. In India lots of people admire US for the development and progress they have made. USA's condition 20 years back is the same condition as it is in India now.

India India got her independence from the britishers in 1947. The british ruled india for nearly 200 years. After independence, India adopted a mixed economy . But today India is headed towards economic liberalisation. It has a very strong service sector and the manufacturing sector shows promise. It is slated to become one of the few important nation in the near future.

here is one more proud indian talking, with all my friends already describing my beautiful country .. and beleive it or no, this is truly the the most amazing country i have ever thought of, INDIA boasts of almost every thing in abundance, be it languages, diverse geographic area, number of religion, castes & sub castes, eco tourism, ayurveda, yoga, meditation, almost everything one can imagine, worst of abundance is we have people in abundance who hate us (and for what). coz we helped a country get an identity (bangladesh), we helped a country from saving its existance (bhutan), we tried to help a country from getting split over a racial issue (sri lanka), there are so many things to talk about this beautiful country with beautiful people

I'm from the Philippines... With a reputation for being chaotic and corrupt, the Philippines has something of an image problem. But most who make the journey to the 7000-odd islands that comprise the Philippines are pleasantly surprised by their beauty and by the friendliness of the people. Most of the Philippines is laid-back, stable and relatively safe. The locals are an exceptionally helpful bunch and there are fantastic reefs and fish. On top of this, transport is cheap, the food is good, accommodation is plentiful and (for the mono linguistic) English is widely spoken. The Philippines is hot and humid year-round. The weather pattern across the archipelago is complex, but can be roughly divided into the dry season (September to May) and the wet season (June to September). There is little seasonal variation in most places with average highs and lows of around 31°C (87°F) and 24°C (76°F) respectively. The best time to visit is between December and May when slightly cooler and drier conditions prevail. The Philippines has developed a mixed culture from the blending of foreign influences with native elements. Today some of the isolated tribes are the only people whose culture remains unadulterated by earlier Muslim and later Spanish and American influences. (http://www.lonelyplanet.com)
