One year ago I lost his brother ( jupke) and now he ( costello) is very ill. He has a braintumor, he's 15 years old, but it is so difficult to let him you. Do you like pets? And is it also for you like loosing a good friend?

when a pet dies - we usually do not outlive our pets and so therefore we must come to grips with the act of dying. In a way when our time comes we may have just learned a thing or two
You have been through this before and it is a hard thing. We know we will outlive our pets most of the time however that does not mean it gets any easier. We lost 2 of our cats that had been with us a loooong time. In fact we had the cats since before we had children. When they went we were sad. They had a long life and we loved them and tended to them as needed so they had a good life. I suspect the same is true with your dogs. Letting go can be very hard however necessary especially in this case. We love our pets and letting go is best done gracefully! They love you! I stand with you in your time of grief!!!
