i love my parents equally but i will say that my mum and i are best friends aswell as mother and daughter, i can only hope that when my daughter grows up that we are able to have the same rel that my mother and i have got, OF course when i was younger i was embarrased to be seen with them and i used to spend a lot of time in my room but now that i am older i love spending time with them, my mum has even been known to come clubbing with me and my friends, my friends always asks me if my mum is going to come clubbing with me, lol It is wonderful and i love and respect my parents because without them and there wonderful support i would not be here and also i would not be the person that i want and hopefully am if it was not for them

daughters r more attached to mother rather than that of father and father loves his daughter more than his son. this is my personal thought.

Although this is an old discussion here or elsewhere, I just have to give an old answer : I love 'em both equally... They are my parents!

give me the love scale so i can tell you! I love my parents without reasons, they are my parent, so i blame them nothing and forgive them everything like they do for me.

This relates to my childhood, but I am much closer to my father. He raised me as a single parent and my "mom" has never expressed an interest in maintaining contact. My dad was (and still is) such a positive influence. I know he is the one person who will always believe in me no matter what. I always hear about girls relating to their mothers, but growing up my friends and I could always relate to being daddy's little girl.
