My dad has diabetes. It's type II diabetes so it used to be regulated by his diet, but he wasn't very good at sticking to it so now he's on insulin. Sometimes the insulin and the tablets he has to take make him feel really sick. I feel sorry for him.

My faher is diabetic. But he developed it only after being seriously injured in a bus dacoity where he was shot at. Otherwise, there is no history of diabetes in my family.

I had a step mother in law that was diabetic and though it was hard at first she did learn to live with it from day to day. Does make healing from things like cuts harder though.

My Husband has it very bad. I wish it was something I could do so he wouldn't get sick all the time. I try to give him the right foods. but sometimes he just do want he wants too. I had to call 911, the other day. most of the time I can get him together but this peticular time I could do it. he was alright after he went to hospital.
