On the subject of executions......

Why is it that when they are going to give someone a lethal injection, the nurse swabs the needle entry point on the prisoner's skin with antiseptic before inserting the needle?? Are they really that concerned about infection at a time like this??

that's funny...you think the movie's accurate in that part? now i wonder if they really do that...hmmm...

I'm not sure if the movie is accurate or not?? But Sarandon won an oscar I think so I would hope they were accurate??

I am not very sure if thats true. I havent seen it. But as per me i guess its just that they are used to follow that procedure.
