How can you cope with child tantrums? Will too much love and attention spoil the child? How much is too much? Do we have to be strict with child in some matters?

Tantrum is a negative word so if the child is throwing tantrums it is better to discipline him. Of course crying is okay if reasonable. But if he cries just because of tantrum then that is not good at all. As for me when my child has tantrum, I'd talk to him and tell him it is not good to behave that way, if still my words won't be enough and he keeps doing his thing then I'd get my rod and tell him if he would not stop he would get a taste of the rod.

Just love will spoil the child. THe saying goes like this" spare the rod and spoil the child" So u should also concentrate on teaching the child both sides of life (the good and bad)
