what do you think almost of the people in the world study english as their second language.

as the development of the USA, more and more people like to learn english as their second language. Some study it because they love it and want to know more about the culture and the life in the usa, but the others, learn it just because they want to have a good job with nice salary. So many people learn english, english is very popular in every country. how do you think about this?

well, here in the philippines, english is taught in schools. this started when the us took over the philippines after the japanese occupation ended. though the times of war were horrible, the learning of english gives us a good advantage on the global market. and that's the only thing im thankful for from the americans who went here a long time ago.
