President Ford was 93. He became Vice-President after the resignation of Spiro Agnew, then President after the resignation of Nixon. He tried his best. He put the country ahead of partisanship or personal gain. He lost the 1976 Presidential election to Jimmy Carter because the country could not do the same. Then, he went quietly into retirement, never second-guessing or criticizing his successors. He was always a gentleman. Current politicians would do well to emulate him. RIP Gerald Ford, you will be missed.
