why can't we use "copy paste" anymore?

i know that mylot is controlling spams and those foolish users who just copy other users' discussions. But don't you think using the "copy paste" button is important in posting discussions. there's this one time that i wrote a very long discussion but my internet connection crashed so i have to copy my work coz i have to restart my computer. but with this new "policy" i wasn't able to "copy paste" my work and started encoding all over again.

They didn't eliminate it all together. They are just reserving it for members who have been here long enough to know the difference between what is allowed and what isn't.
