How to connect laptop to TV? If you look around the base of your laptop you may find a small circular jack called an s-video out(not all laptops have one but most new ones do) go to an electronics store to pick up an s-video cable and plug it into your tv and laptop then go into your video settings by right clicking on the desktop and selecting properties. Select the settings tab and then the advanced button and there should be multiple monitor options( they vary from video card to video card) depending on your hardware you can either use one display at a time or both
