Pico Hydro Power for a Rural Village

Zambia

I am from a very remote village in the northern part of Zambia in Africa. My village will never have electricity in the next hundred years or so. I have the knowledge and expertise to provide power to this small village. This will help in the fight against poverty, HIV/AIDS and will contribute to the reduction in marternal deaths in our rural clinics. The area has a lot of water from streams but the land is mostly flat. This poses a challenge for low head turbine systems. I need help on how to over come this problem without building a dam. I need to know the manufacturers of the turbines of 1.5m head systems, 220 - 240 VAC/50Hz generator, 200 to 2.5Kw power, their cost and maybe a case study of an installed system. Please help
