floor sound proofing

I did an extensive search on this as I knew you wanted to basically do this for the cheapest amount possible. so I have provided you with a link that should help you out on the basics of how to soundproof rooms. http://choosetoprosper.com/soundproofing-material.html what I used to do when I was sound recording was I created a small recording studio and nailed the bottom of egg cartons to the wall, then used cardboard ontop of the egg cartons( had to eat a lot of eggs for them lol jus kiddin ) :) anyway I hope this helps :)
