I always do read greeting cards..tv ads, paper and posted ads...read letters from friends...texts...am somewhat saddend to notice that instead of placing christmas these people place XMAS...maybe they are just in a hurry to write not to notice this typogophical error...or they are just in ahurry to barge into the christmas season without reflecting that thiese season is not only for celebratiNg with our family being in a feastive moment, time for a break on our jobs, relaxation but also more importantly, thanking God for his blessings and the messiah he sent(for us roman catholic...his son jesus christ)...further reflecting on the matter is that in our time today with all the crime immorality..etc...seems like the word XMAS(instead of CHRISTmas) reflects it all!SHALOM(peace) TO ALL!

I've noticed this a lot too, and it really saddens me. I also enjoy the festive times with family and friends, but I never ever ever want to forget the real meaning of Christmas. Without my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, there is no holiday on Dec. 25. It would be just another day off work if it wasn't for Him. But praise be to God that it is so much more than that. As for cards, if it doesn't say Merry Christmas, I don't want to buy it. I'd rather custom make my own cards. Hope yours was a blessed one!
