Sick dog

I have a dog labrador which is almost 15 years old, and having problems since six months. Every now them it becomes sick and need special care. Doctor has suggested to put it to sleep, but my conscious is not allowing it. But at the same time i love my dog so much that cannot see it go thru all that pain. Do not understand what to do?

I understand you completely! Do what you think is right.. i don't like to put any dog to sleep because i feel like it is killing them, but then again they are suffering.. but i still wouldn't do it because you can't do that to a human being.. so do what you think is right!

If your dog is in pain, the best thing to do is to put him/her to sleep. The dog has lived a long life and should be able to go with dignity.
