Capital punishment - Yeah or Nay?

I feel the punishment should fit the crime. If you killed someone or they die as a result or someone on their family also dies from the shock of the action - you go, too. As for molesting children and raping women and the like - locked away forever. What do you say?

The person committing a crime should have the same rights taken away from them as the victim. If they intentionally killed someone, they should be executed. If they tortured the person first, they should be tortured first.
If they raped someone, they should be tied down and gang raped by any prisoner willing to participate.
