The addictiveness of solitaire

Who here is addicted to solitaire? It's one of those silly little games everyone has on their computer and for some reason it is so darn addicting? I read an article somewhere a couple months ago that an entire office building had to take solitaire off the computers because their employees were playing too much! It thought that was hysterical! Are you addicted to this game too?

I also am a little addicted to it. Whenever my internet stops working or when im bored I just start playing regular solitaire or spider solitaire.

I do love to play the computer version and even play with real cards now and then. I have it on my hand-held and will sit and play it whenever I'm waiting at the Dr. or something like that. I heard that the games were originally included with Windows way back when because it helped people learn how to use the mouse. My old employer went through and deleted the shortcut for the games but left the programs on the hard drive. Anyone who knew how to find the games could still play them - it was a hoot! I would go around and add the shortcut back, but hide it somewhere so it wasn't obvious.
