Do things ever fall into place?

Growing up I always thought I would go to college, graduate, find the career of my dreams, start a family, and live life happily ever after. Now, I'm 22 years old, in my first year of graduate school, and feel more confused than ever. I don't know what I want to do with my life, nothing seems to click, and I'm wondering if anyone ever feels like everything has fallen into place? As I get older life seems really monotonous and routine. Where's the excitement I used to see adults having? Does anyone really love thier job? Is there anyone out there that feels they're right where they are supposed to be or atleast on the path to getting there or is everyone like me wishing I didn't grow up so fast?
