How would you know if a guy is truly in love with you?

I've had this dilemma before, I used to fall for sweet talking guys... They just know how to make you feel really special and they make it seem like they are truly in love with you. And its usually too late before you know it that they're just playing you... So, how do you know if a guy is in love with you?

When he says he loves you, cherish's you, and does what he says everytime.

that could be it, as long as he does what he says and you can feel it in your gut then maybe it could be true love...
