I donot think dropping him from world cup team.People who talk about dropping Ganguly either don't understand the game of Cricket or have amnesia. It's great that chappel is looking at youngsters for 2007 world cup. But to make it an excuse to drop a class act like Ganguly from the team is ridiculous. If India thinks that a youngster who will possibly play 30 ODIs before 2007 is going to win India 2007 world cup then it is nothing but wishful thinking or plain fantasy. Get Real India - We are talking about one of the very few batsmen who have crossed 10000 runs in ODI here. Please remember that. He has not failed India ever. India stands today because of him. Players of potential today have been hand picked and supported by him through thick and thin so that they get a chance to prove their mettle

I feel he should play the 2007 world cup, he has worked very hard to get back in the team and if continues to do the same he deserve a place in the indian world cup squad.

to me, yes .....though he suffered from his worst form recently, we cant rule out his ability as a great skillful batsman.........and tell me after dropping him whom will you take as his replacement..........who the hell is performing now...........for the 1st test win in SA there is a ganguly factor attached to it ........ganguly boosted the teams morale there.......

No Indian player can be assured of a guranteed place in the team, because no body is consistent. May be he will one among 15 and if he plays well, there may be a chance.

i don't agree with u...... even a county player knows the anatomy of his batting..... he has nothing left to show the world

He was great a few years back but he seriously needs to think quiting the game. He still has the mental strength but he lacks the skills. He still has problem with the short ball and he can never overcome that. He is a liability to the team rather than a asset.
