how o speed up my pc

well i have 512mb ram , 800mhz processor and 64 mb agp
but my windows (xp professional) is very slow please help me out guys

formatting ur pc, will make it brand new.. but make sure u backup all files in drive where u installed os
Apart from formatting,
*defragment ur pc once a week (start-accesories-system tools-system defragmenter)
*run command -msconfig
select startup and remove unwanted applications from running on startup
*system mechanic is a gud sftwr for pc maintenance
