how to speed up my pc

well i have 512mb ram , 800mhz processor and 64 mb agp but my windows (xp professional) is very slow please help me out guys

your pc is slow but you are going fast on my lot,you have posted same discussion two times. anyway regarding slow speed, have you checked about any virus or have you installled any antivirus on your pc?

yes i have cheacked wfor any virus with rising antivirus 2006 whish i updated tomarrow but it didnt show any virus or spam
