I don't feel lost without my mobile/cell phone but I certainly do find it convenient for so many things. Mostly we use the landline when we are at home but the mobile/cell phone allows us to keep in touch with friends when we are away. Also it allows he to send text messages to our son who is currently wandering around overseas.

Yeah, i agree with what you said.. sometimes when i leave my phone at home, i do worry about people not being able to find me.. cos of the convenience of mobile phones, friends and even families seldom call the Lan lines anymore.. they will either send an sms or call my mobile to get me.. Just like how you're communicating with your son right now =)
