Hard disk problem

Well guys I have a problem in my hands.My hard disk is divided into 3 parts,C,D and E.E dirve has 25 GB and I have used only around 6 Gb but it shows that the free space is only 2 Gb now.I want to format this drive only.What should I do?

Well, can I know what's the total capacity of your hard disk and what os you're using. you have three partitions and the sometimes the registry is unable to detect the vacant space your hard drive. I hope it's not your recovery drive though! :) Thanks

Hi,well my hard disk is 80 GB,I use windows XP and E is not my recover drive.Actually I had a SMPS problem and my disk kind of crashed and all the stuff got backed up into E.I deleted the unwanted stuff but still I can't see the space.

You should use FDISK program and repartition and reformat it.
