whose responcibilty is it to look after old parents

parents work hard sacrifice their lives to bring up their kids, when they become old they dont need the attention they deserve. whose respocibity is it to take care of them, the boy or the girl.

yes it is but in india the son has this resposibilty over all. parents think its a shame to go to a daughters house for tht matter, its a matter of prestidge

Yes , in India it is like that. But, if our parents are not happy in the son's places, the daughters should welcome them open arms and love. We should never make them feel unwanted.Remember, we wll also face the same situations in our old age.
